Efrat Bergman-Sapir is the head of the Legal Department at PCATI since September 2014. Previously she worked as Legal Adviser to the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. At the same time she was also a Teaching Fellow in the Asia Studies Program for Law students at Bar Ilan University. Efrat trained with the Association for Civil Rights in Israel and holds a B.A. in Law and International Relations from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
