Adv. Janan Abdu joined PCATI’s legal team in March 2020. Before that she worked as a lawyer in a private office. She holds an LL.M. Degree in Adjudication and Criminal Procedures from the University of Haifa and an additional Masters in Psychosocial Education. Mrs. Abdu worked as a trained lawyer at Adalah Legal Center. Prior to that she coordinated the Detainees Rights Project at the Arab Foundation for Human Rights. Mrs. Abdu is a known activist in the human rights sector with focus on prisoners’ rights where she contributed and had had an active role in many human rights initiatives in the Arab society.
