Adv. Tal Steiner is PCATI’s Executive Director since July 2020. Prior to that, Tal has served as the head of the legal department at the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants, as an associate human rights officer at the UN office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and as a lawyer in Hamoked: Center
Adv. Janan Abdu joined PCATI’s legal team in March 2020. Before that she worked as a lawyer in a private office. She holds an LL.M. Deganit Ben Shitrit has years of experience in various positions at numerous non-profits. She has worked at political organizations and Jewish renewal organizations and was involved in integrating professional spiritual companionship into the Israeli medical system. She conducts independent and egalitarian wedding ceremonies.
Efrat Bergman-Sapir is the head of the Legal Department at PCATI since September 2014. Previously she worked as Legal Adviser to the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. At the same time she was also a Teaching Fellow in the Asia Studies Program for Law students at
Adv. Sasha Hazan-Ifrah Is the Coordinator of PCATI’s Police Project. She supports and represents individuals who have been brutalized by the Police vis-à-vis Machash – the police’s internal investigation department – and advances policy changes to improve the state’s overall response to police violence. Sasha received her LL.B. from Sapir Academic College in 2019, and
Mohammad Jaradat has been working with PCATI since 2013. As the organization’s Fieldworker, he receives referrals and collects information on violations, supports beneficiaries, and maintains contact with families of victims and partner organizations. Mohammad finished his psychology studies at Hebron University in 2002.
